But what about k-12? I know one child that I question about taking ADD drugs. At home he was no problem. He was fine, but as soon as the school bell rang he was a problem? His parents said the school told them their son “had” to get evaluated to see if he had to take the drug. Since when did schools become Dr and druggist? Why would they insist a child take these drugs when the parents have had the child at home for five years and they had no problems? I never ever saw this boy act out. His parents say “clean your room” and he did. The kid is as sweet as he can be. So what gives? The most worst of all is his parents said they felt intimidated to comply with the school.
